DIY Buckets for Special Events

If you are on a budget and would like a variety of blooms for an event, then this is the ideal option for you.  The buckets are "farmer harvested" as we carefully choose blooms that go well together and offer a beautiful assortment of brightly colored flowers and foliage.  We condition the flowers for 24 hours before pick up to ensure you get the most life out of your bouquets.

Are DIY buckets right for me?

DIY buckets are a great choice for you if:

1) It sounds like fun to create your special look.

2) You and "your design team" of friends and family are happy to help create bouquets, centerpieces, cake flowers, etc. before your event.

3) You are interested in saving money and have the time to invest in your special say. 

How would I use a DIY bucket?

You can make anything you like with our flowers.  Here is a list of the most common designs:

• Personal flowers: bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, flower crowns

• Ceremony flowers: aisle flowers, petals for throwing, ceremony urns

• Receptions: centerpieces, bud vases, cake flowers, bar flowers

How many stems should I order?

Here are some quick guidelines to help you determine how many buckets you might need for your event:

Bridal bouquets: 75 stems

Centerpieces: 10-20 stems per vase with a 2.5-inch wide opening (like a mason jar)

Bud vases: 3-5 stems per vase

How do I keep the flowers fresh for my special day?

Make sure all the stems are in water.  Keep the flowers in an air-conditioned space until right before you use them.  If you are using boutonnieres or loose petals, store those in a bag or plastic container in the refrigerator if made the day before. 

How do DIY buckets work?

• We will select a beautiful assortment of flowers and foliage in a variety of colors based on what is in bloom in our fields at that time.  

• Buckets contain approximately 80 stems for $100.  There is a 2-bucket minimum. 

• We require 1/2 of the total at the time of order.  The remaining balance must be paid in full 1 week before pick up. 

• Pick-up times can be arranged on our farm at your convenience.  Many customers choose to pick up on Thursday evening for events taking place on the weekend. 

• You may bring your bucket to transport your blooms, or you can keep our bucket for an additional $10.  We will refund your $10 if our buckets are brought back within one week of pick up.
